My phone was on 18/01 and I blacklisted it on 19/01. On opening a case with the SAPS they requested I unblacklist the phone for them to try and trace it first as it is a Blackberry. On sunday I contacted MNT and explained my situation. I was advised on all the documents that need to be faxed. This was faxed on Monday 21/01. I called MTN and it was confirmed the documents was received (I also have proof that the fax was succesfully delivered) and I was advised it takes up to 72 hours. I followed up on Tuesday, Wednesday (where I was told to put the phone on and off after explaining it was???) and Thursday and was only told it takes up to 72 hours. This morning Friday 25/01 when I followed up again, I was told the documents was not received and I now need to resend them and ANOTHER 72 hours must go by before they unblacklist it. On request to speak to a manager or the blacklisting department to have the process speeded up as this is at no fault of mine and the longer this takes the smaller the chance of finding my phone, I can hear the phone just gets put on a counter untill you get fed up and hang up. MTN your customer care is pathetic!
