MISSING MONEY & I MUST STILL PAY!? REALLY?!?!

We had a break in, which the my laptop that was contracted to Vodacom, to which we then found out they had not insured! on the 06/08/2013 I paid R2350.43 to them for a premature cancellation and as far as I am aware this was sent through to their offices. I had a debit order come off on the first for the laptop, the agent saw in my account the money was reversed, HOW DO YOU REVERSE A PAYMENT THAT WAS DONE IN CASH!?
now I must find my proof that I paid, EVEN THOUGH IT SHOWS ON THEIR SYSTEM!
in the break, they also a phone, which we black listed along with the laptop, and I have recently reactivated, to which they insured immediately which wasn't consulted with us either. so they insure a R99.00 contract, but not a laptop?
so I called the store where I paid to confirm the woman who assisted me, and according to the manager, there are no females working in his store any more, do I see this as yet another lie? or do I believe this? do I assume that she has amazingly taken my money and run off? or, like the way Vodacom has treated this situation, its even more BS?
I cant believe over 10 years of loyalty is gone
