No response from complaints department

I have a cell phone contract that I would like to cancel.
I went in store to get a "settlement" of the account and was given an amount and a phone number to arrange for everything to be done.
I contacted the Autopage headoffice number and was then given a different amount to what was given in store.
It was R 1000 more than the instore amount.
I then requested for this to be taken further as I would obviously prefer to pay a lesser amount.
The caller said that would send it on to the Complaints department.
I was contacted very quickly from the complaints department and was told they understood my query and would come back to me.
This was almost 2 weeks ago. Over this period I have had my debit order run again.
Surely it cant be that difficult to cancel a cell phone account.
