No end to your contracts

My mom took out a contract with Autopage Cell C in Feb 2008. The contract was a 24 mnth contract but Autopage does not comprehend these timelines. They called her to renew the contract and she stated she was not interested and did not want to continue. Autopage continued to debit her account for a further 2 yrs. At this time I advised my mom to cancel the payment at the bank since they would not stop the debit in Mar 2012. Lo and behold, would she not be called by a legal entity to pursue payment on behalf of Autopage for another yrs payment till Mar 2013. Why stop there? Continue to take money until eternity since there is no end to a 24 month contract and no does not mean no. I know my rights as a consumer and will ensure my mom is refunded every cent owed to her. A recording for the call was requested and she was advised she is not entitled to it. then again told it may be too long since it dates to 2009. Calls must be kept 5 yrs after the end of a contract. the audacity of Dolores to say she did not cancel and wanted to be debited therefore cont to pay. People like Dolores should not be customer facing. I have walked this path with Cell C before and happy to do so again.
