I upgraded handset and renewed contract for another 12 months. received hand set only to find the hand set was faulty kept on saying not recognised on network problem with firmware, crackling noise from earpiece speaker, complained about elite mobile and Vodacom. Elite mobile collected handset after 5 days later, they have now come back to me saying that Vodacom cant do a OBC as the phone has scratches, they say they could not look at the problem I reported just because of the scratches. This is RUBBISH I have taken photos of the phone before I package and released back to elite mobile for investigation. I am expecting a new phone in exchange for the one I sent back. I have also been in touch with the manufacture and they agree that the model i have is faulty and wont be recongnised on our networks, have a reference to my correspondence with them and they are willing to assist me, why is it that Vodacom cant come to the party regarding this matter. why do they always pass the buck and never take responsibility for their errors. I need answers on this matter as I am paying for a phone I don't have, that is unfair business practise, i think the consumer council wont be happy.
