I received an SMS on my mobile telling me I was put onto a subscription service at R20 a day. Infuriated I called Cell C to please block the frauds as I never joined a subscription service. I spoke to Vincent Ngcobani and he told me that basically I was the one who joined the service and therefore he cannot block it. He did not understand that I never ever joined the subscription service and he made it out to be my fault. He said there is nothing that Cell C can do from their side to block the people. I explained to him that I did not join the service but he would not understand and made me out to seem like I was some. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me that no manager was available and that there was no one else who I could speak to. I called back and spoke to someone else named Thami Khulu and he was much more knowledgable, much friendlier and so much more helpful. He explained what charges were deducted from my account and gave me a solution, something that Vincent clearly couldn't do. I will not pay anything and would like this to be investigated by CellC!
