Repeated Failure of Service

Every 2 to 3 weeks, my internet connection 'loses synch' with the local exchange, cutting my line off. When I then report it, it takes them 5 days or more to repair it. That just isn't acceptable. My only conclusion is that Telkom is playing hot potato with my line on the exchange because they oversold connections. You cannot honestly tell me, as their call center did, that they need to unplug the entire exchange every 2 weeks. Add to that the fact that when do have a connection, the speeds are completely erratic and what it will and won't connect to is entirely deranged. Please, tell me what is going on, because I'm getting desperate for the large-scale miracles when my connection works as advertised.
