I've been struggling to make International calls from my Telkom Land line. I was told in May to go to a Telkom Direct Store to have it fixed, which I did but the problem persisted. When the need arose to make an International call, we got a message on our phone to say that the service is blocked.
I phoned them again today on this number 0860103087 and the Consultant on the other side (unfortunately I couldn't get his name) told me that my line was not blocked. Then I asked him, very politely, what I needed to do if I tried to make a call and I get the message to say that I'm barred from making International calls, which happened before. Then he ask me whether I think he's lying. I told him that I don't think he's lying, I just wanted him to tell me what to do if this should happen again. He couldn't tell me what I needed to do, but this he only admitted after a heated argument. In the end he put the phone down in my ear. It is very unprofessional and this is not the first time I get incompetent and unprofessional Service from Telkom.
