MTN Insurance Rip Off

I got a call 2 weeks after my claim was made, the lady, Koketso still made me wait another 5-10 minutes on the line just to tell me my claim was rejected and she knew she was going to reject it. My phone was out of my car, which was parked in at a friends house, in the locked car port and MTN denied my claim. I wrote a letter explaining the situation and they got back to me a week later! Again, my claim was denied. No investigation was done, nothing at all. I was basically paying my insurance so that they could me in the end. A friend of mine had lost he's phone, that was self negligence and MTN insurance covered it. The customer service is unbelievably pathetic. MTN insurance is! Many cases were made for break ins at my friends home, but had MTN done their jobs and investigated, they would have seen this. They were right, my car was unlocked, which is why they rejected my claim, but the car was locked in a car port which had garage doors and electric fencing. Seriously, who the locks their car when it's parked in the garage? This is a excuse for them to not pay out my claim. This was a break in, not negligence!
