Water damage out of nowhere

I took my phone in fore repairs as it still under warranty cover, got not so great service when handing it in. Firstly the staff at the Mtn outlet were not paying attentiom to detail when filling the necesary form in as I had to double check on their behalf. Got a message saying my phone was ready to be picked up only to find that it wasnt my phone and then to be told later that my phone cannot be fixed as it "liquid damaged". This isnt the first time this happens with my handsets at MTN and im starting to doubt everything especially with the outlet in question. If i had dropped my phone in any liquid or spilled anything on it, I wouldnt have gone through the trouble of handing it over to them for repairs knowing it isnt covered under warranty. Im very disappointed with MTN and whoever is handling my insurance. Surely if i had known it was water damaged i wouldnt have claimed anything!
