I logged a fault with 8ta regarding my exceptionally slow internet connection that is in supposed 3G coverage area. 8ta sent a technician and he checked for coverage and couldn't get a signal. He then logged the issue back to another department and i was advised that i would be contacted and assisted to resolve the issue.
after waiting for a week and a half, I called 8ta again to try and get feedback and the consultant told me my case has been closed on their system yet no one came back to me and advised how to resolve my issue. This is the second time I have complained about my slow internet. the first time though i was told nothing can be done about it and for some reason my connection improved. And now its even worse than the first time i complained. I'm very unimpressed that my case was just closed and no one even tried to help me with my issue, I'm basically paying for a service that I can't use and yet the service provider has promised quality of service in a coverage area that i happen to be in. If they can't do anything about I would appreciate the service provider to be upfront about it and I'd rather discontinue the service the to hold my breath for better days.
