Wrong activation

I have applied for a new line online with vodacom to port a number from prepaid to top up contract.
I have called the after sales on 082 1945 on Friday 23 Aug to activate the line and specifically asked them to switch from prepaid number to the top up. I gave them the serial of the sim card and I was promised that it will go as requested. However later during the day I received an SMS with a new number.

So on Saturday I called the after sales to try and resolve the issue which I was told to go to Vodashop todo a sim swap. I went to the shop and they told me they can't handle the account since its online direct sale and I must sort it out with online team. So I called after sales again this Sunday 25 August and spoke to Tumi who is telling me that they can not help. What's that. A simple request is getting me from pillar to post. With a brand so good I don't see how they are unable to fix this little glitch. Seriously disappointed.
