Adsl unavailable 99% of the time for past 4 months

My adsl line is not working most of the time. Logged several service calls since early May. Spent hours on the phone going through checklists. No service call status updates for weeks at a time. Logged the most recent call 8 days ago and no action as yet. Please help!! I pay for a service I cannot use.
