Telkom absolutely useless

I have not a working landline for more than 3 months. I have tried calling the call centre number 10210 but I keep getting told that an upgrade is taking place in Gauteng and that the issue is being resolved. For the last 6 weeks running I have been into the telkom store in Canal Walk and I keep being told that my issue has been escalated. Each time that I have contacted the call centre, I also get told that my fault has been resolved but I still cannot use my landline.
On returning to the store today, I was told that I cannot be helped as I need to speak to the call centre and that I have been wasting my time coming into the store for the last 6 weeks and that they only do sales of new lines.
It seems that telkom has had a down grade to their systems instead of an upgrade. I have had a rolling telephone bill for the last 3 months, that I have been advised not to pay by telkoms themselves as if I pay my bill I will never be credited for the 3 months that my line has not been working. I can't even cancel my line instore, only through the call centre and that I would till need to give a months notice on a line that is not working and that has not been working for the last 3 month
