Received a Sony Experia on contact renewal May 2013.The screen cracked and quering this with the local MTN branch they advised that they could not assist or even look up any details regarding the contract on their system. The staff were not willing to assist in any way. This is the second time that the staff have lived up to their reputation for non service delivery. On receiving the Sony device it started diverting calls to voice mail or did not go through at all and this is a major problem as I perform standby duties and must be reachable 24 hours a day. After very bad response from the staff and unwillingness to assist I have reverted back to my previous model Motorolla. This is very unfortunate as I am now forced to consider cancelling my contract with MTN due to the unwillingness to assist customers by the branch staff. My second contract is up for an upgrade in September however this will be very unlikely..

Please provide sufficient training to the applicable staff and make them aware of the basics of client service.
