3rd time unlucky - useless repair cente

After multiple attempts to get MTN to fix my phone, please see previous complaints, I gave up and took it to a local repair shop who fixed my phone in 2 hours for R150. This after MTN told me it would cost R1800 to fix my phone!?! What kind of are you guys running over there? Are you hiring technicians off the street?

This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I am disgusted at how long MTN takes to respond and with the service I received. How many other customers have you guys "tricked"?

I was without my phone for almost 3 months, MTN only contacted me once to say that it would cost R1800 to repair the phone because of so called "Physical damage" which is so generic. Promises to contact me were not kept and bogus information was relayed on the 2nd attempt (Job card said I was contacted but I was not at all).

All in all this was a terrible experience!! MTN you are losing customers, wake up!!
