Cannot cancel account

I have always sung the praises of Neotel, but since the bad service I have received in trying to close down my account, I will not be recommending Neotel to anyone. I have sent three emails and made three phone calls trying to discontinue my account. The first of these was sent on the 8th July. Each time I receive an automated response confirming that my email has been received, however, despite this, my account has still not been closed. I have phoned the call centre and each time I am told to resend the email. How many times am I going to have to send the email of cancellation before my account is closed?
Today I asked to speak to the manager and was told firstly that he/she was unavailable and then that there was no manager.
Very very bad service and very frustrating as a consumer when you keep doing what is asked of you and nothing happens.
