Constant dropped calls and delayed sms

I have had constant problems receiving calls and SMS. This seems to be a constant problem with my calls going straight to voice mail and SMS only being received up to a day later than when they where sent. It is so bad that I have had to take out a new contract with a different service provider to be able to communicate with my family. I have reported this problem previously but the problem still continues. I was in my car the other day and my wife tried to phone me on the cell c line and the call went to voice mail she then phoned me on the new Vodacom line and got straight through (the phones where lying next to each other in the car). As suggested by cell c that maybe the phone is faulty this cant be true due to the fact we have exactly the same phones and swapped the sims around and the phone worked fine. I really would like to cancel the cell c contract due to the constant problems which have not been sorted out
