Unable to send msgs I phone 5

I bought I Iphone 5 in December 2012 and up until now I`m unabe to send sms`s. I`ve now been to the 8ta store in Westgate on more then one occassion and they keep on sending e-mails tpo the Data services department but up until today can`t send any sms`s. The call centre is useless and keep on telling me that all the I phone 5`s is having this problem and they are working on it, but its now 5 months later and they are still working on it. I`m paying a arm and a leg every month on this phone but cant even use a simple service like sending a sms.8ta is useless and I will spread the word for people not to get a I phone from Telkom!!!
