Incorrect Billing and Statements

Spoke with Herbert (Team Leader) this morning (2013-08-19 between 08:38 and 09:00) where he assured me that the outstanding amount to be debited from my account is about R 248.00 and that I was over billed by over R 500.00 last month. I requested this in writing.
Herbert assured me that he would send it to my email address and confirmed the address.
Just to reaffirm that this whole situation with the statements is atrocious. Was there any testing done on the changes at all?
Additionally, I previously sent a query on the bill after the June statement was sent out to which I am still awaiting a reply, something I mentioned on my call this morning as well.
We shall see if anything comes of this one.
I have not yet received the written confirmation as discussed with Herbert
