DROPPED CALLS GALORE

On the 16th of August 2013 at 19:00 I found myself in an emergency, I needed to make CALLS. However every call I made to any number was dropped by MTN (Hereafter referred to as eMpTyN) I called eMpTyN on 808 and they told me it was a network problem, they were going to refresh my line I should switch off, take the battery out and switch on again. NO LUCK. I eventually gave up after i got the help I needed by sending a please call me.
Throughout the day today (17th of August 2013) I have been unable to make calls, same error, called 808 again, same old story, same result. As I am typing this report it's 19:04. I still can't make calls... It's been 24 hours for Pete's sake! What the is wrong with eMpTyN? Are your engineers that slow?
What really me off is that eMpTyN has no decency to notify it's customers! I can't call my sister in the same room but she can call me!
What is eMpTyN going to do to make it up to those affected? Individuals like myself who have had to rely on callbacks and buy airtime to load on other people's phones just to make a phone call? What if someone loses his/her life tonight because they can't get help because such service?
