Poor after sales service and customer neglect

I renewed (upgraded) my cell phone contract and had to change the service provider because they were offering a better deal. I was advised by Autopage that it would take up to 24 hrs for the new phone to be activated but after 24 hours my phone was still not activated, so I telephoned the store and was told that I was supposed to keep my phone switched off (not told this when I was handed the phone) I did as I was told but another 24 hours elapsed and my new phone was still not activated. I tried to phone the store several times on Saturday morning but nobody answered the phone and neither did this store respond 2 e-mails I sent. I then had to go to the store to enquire what the problem was. The owner of the store and an assistant were attending to customers and I rang the store number whilst I was standing waiting to be attended to. The phone rang but it was ignored by the 2 staff members. When I was eventually attended to I was told that the service provider that I was using had only closed the account at 7 pm the previous day. This meant that my new phone would only be activated on Monday due to the weekend. Due to consistent poor service I am considering terminating my contract
