VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER - PRODUCT EXCHANGE

I purchased a Capdase cellphone cover for my iPhone 5 less than two weeks ago for R169.00 The cover, which is supposed to be transparent, is starting to show premature signs of wear and is starting to turn yellow around the edges. As a result, I went to visit the Vodacom store in Norwood Mall where I purchased the cover from to return it. Prior to doing so, I had called the shop the previous day to explain the situation and was told to come into store for an exchange. When I arrived at the store, I was made to wait for /- 20 minutes until the disgruntled manager, Norman, arrived. When he finally did, I explained the nature of the situation to him in length and showed him the damaged product. Norman told me that he could not under any circumstance replace the damaged product and was EXCEPTIONALLY rude and uncooperative. He acted in a highly confrontational manner whilst other shoppers looked on in horror! I explained to him that according to the CPA, I am entitled to return a damaged product within a specific mandated period. He told me that the CPA is rubbish and is not upheld in their store. This man behaved in a truly unprofessional and unhelpful manner. Please help me.
