No phone, no contact, sales pitch is misleading

I applied for a Samsung S3mini on a Redbull 200 package on Wednesday 2013/08/07 via Cell C direct. I also wanted to port my number from Vodacom. The call centre agent that called me back from my online request, was polite and assisted perfectly. I received a second call later in the day to confirm whether I'd been helped with my query.
I called back to specify phone colours that I did not want, and was helpfully assisted with this request.

From the initial contact, I was promised delivery within three to five working days.

Today, Wednesday, 2013/08/14, (working day four) I called in to follow up on progress and when I can expect my handset. The call centre agent advised that my call was still in the system pending approval and I should call back on Friday (working day 6). I responded that this was unacceptable as I was promised 3 to 5 working days. The agent went on to state that she doesnt know why the sales team said 3 to 5 working days, an she could not say when it would be processed. She then mentioned that they were out of stock of micro sims, so this could possibly take much longer.

This is dissappointing. Sterling effort to lure customers, but no further suppo
