MTN promises LTE coverage where there is none!

Hi

I was guaranteed by an MTN sales assistant that I do have LTE coverage in my area (Honeydew), so I took the LTE special (3G 2G with wireless router for R399 x 24 months)

After struggling the whole weekend and phoning support continuously I eventually took it back yesterday (I got the package from the outside store as the other one did not have stock). A very nice lady assisted me, even though I was a bit rude, she calmly helped me. We discovered that there is not even an LTE tower up in my area of Honeydew!!! So the package I got on contract is useless, I have to downgrade to a 3G package today.

I made this a complaint as some MTN store staff are selling customers packages they can't even use!!! I do not remember the name of the sales assistant who helped me at first but I am utterly disappointed that I was fooled into getting something I can't even use!!! This is ridiculous please make sure to train your staff properly to check coverage before selling something to
