NO INTERNET OR PHONES FOR OVER A WEEK, NO ANSWERS!

On the 3rd f August we were notified via SMS that an upgrade was going to be done on the lines and there may be slight interruptions. Its now more than a week later and a fair amount of residents have had no telephone or internet. I called the call centre for some sort of explanation to which I got "I don't know what's going on mam". So I went to the Telkom branch and again asked for an update and I was told 'they don't know where the problem is. They don't know if its with the individual customers, or if the actual lines are damaged. They just don't know.' But the real prize winner was when he said; 'There is no end in sight'.
I approached the Telkom Facebook page and was told we will get back to you... its now 4 days later and nobody has come back to me once again.
I demand answers and refuse to pay for this period of no service or explanation. Unless Telkom had a bunch of donkeys working on the upgrade, someone should be able to give answers.!
