I have 2 8ta numbers that I wanted to port away from 8ta due to bad coverage. I went to Cell C, did the port requests. One number went through, and all was fine. The second number for some unknown reason keeps getting rejected. I have been to 8ta stores, I have phoned 081180. I was then phoned by a mumbling who left a message on my phone to say that it was Cell C fault. The number they phoned me from was 0219446800. You are unable to phone that number back. It is not Cell C's fault. The port has been requested. Explain to me how 2 numbers both on the same account etc, only one gets ported, and the other has a problem. I again phoned 081180, to be told again they would escalate the request, and it takes 72 hours to respond. Tomorrow is a public holiday, and then weekend, so maybe by Wednesday??? I cannot wait this long, as I have been struggling forever with this, and no joy from them!!! My case reference given is 6563044.
