Cell C has taken money from my account, no Service

I asked Cell C to call me a few months ago as I wanted to open an account with them. It took them a few months to respond to my request from their website, but I still wanted to open a sim only account with their straight up package on a month-to-month basis. I also asked the salesman if I could transfer my existing number from my pre-paid Cell C sim card. I was told there was no issue with this.

Cell C happily debited my bank account and sent me the sim. I phoned Cell C to have the number transferred, and was told that there was "an issue", but someone would call back within 24 - 48 hours. After no one called back, I called them, to be told they needed to listen to the recorded conversation between the sales rep and myself! Someone would call me back in 24 hours. No one called back!

Again I called Cell C to be told they still needed to listen to the tapes, but someone would call me back in 24 hours. No one had the decency to call back!

I am still stuck with a sim card I have been charged for, and am probably paying a monthly subscription for, but have had no service from Cell C!

Can someone at Cell C please sort this out!!!
