I discovered that I was being charged R7 daily from some subscription service called Vaaloo via Mira services since June when I called my Cell C. I wanted to get some sort of itemized billing so that when I take this up with these guys I have the figures and dates they deducted money from my account. cell C 140 said I should take my ID to a Cell C store and they'd help, I did that but was told they can't help. I called 140 again and was promised that it was escalated of which I did receive a text confirming this at 10:15am with ref: 3110600781. At 13:46 I received another text saying they can't help because my number is not on their records. I called 140 and was asked to hold, after holding for 15mins the phone was dropped. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor and after being placed on hold for about 5mins the lady told me that the supervisor was in a meeting and would call me back.

I'm new at Cell C and already this year alone I find myself back here for the same time to complain about the none existence or unwillingness of Cell C employees to help their very own customer and to think I ran away from MTN due to high call rates but at least their service was good!!!
