I am glad that I can raise my concerns in a forum that can be read by all. In 2011 I was without work due to a working contract that expired. I had no choice but to contact Autopage to inform then that for a maximum of 3 months I would not be able to make payment on my account due to my setback. The consultant said that she will make a note of my issue on my profile and I must catch up with my account as soon as possible. 2 months had passed and I started working again. On the 3rd month I made payment and another on the following month. I decided to call Autopage to find out how much I had to pay to lift my block, the consultant informed me that my number had been recycled and I owe them R21000 . I have gone to several job interveiws and fail to meet the requirements as I have been placed on ITC for the "outstanding balance". I have tried to remedy this matter on several occassions but all has been in vein. If I didn't want to pay my account Autopage, why did I make payment when I could? Why didn't someone from Autopage call me and inform me that my number is recycled etc? I can't see why I must pay R21000 for something I haven't had the privilage of using?
