Telkom Ambiguity

The cables on my street corner were on Wednesday night (30/07/2013). While the technician responded quickly on Thursday morning I have heard nothing since. I understand that it is a big job to complete but I work from home and all I'm asking from Telkom is that they can provide and estimated completion date - which the call centre people have promised me countless times. This afternoon (05/08/2013) I received a completely ambiguous SMS: "Telkom is aware of a cable related fault on your line. We are investigating all available options to restore your service. Your reference number is 6CTK310713." This is not at all helpful!!! I need to know when it will be fixed!!!
