Waiting forever for simple ADSL

We moved two months ago. We needed an ADSL line ASAP for business purposes. We were told that we had to activate our phone line before we could get an ADSL line. We called, a technician came, but he said he doesn't want to activate it while we're still renovating, so we had to wait another month. Another technician called and activated our telephone line. I then called to activate ADSL, only to be told they have no ports available, and we need to wait 6 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks, and we still don't have our line. This is starting to become very urgent, because we gave our 3G suppliers 2 months notice for cancellation- we thought we'd surely have our new internet by then! But nothing from Telkom yet. Disgusted that in this day and age, we can't just get simple internet.
