I am a loyal mtn customer for over 10 years & have 2 contracts. I've never missed a payment. MY query started like 2 years ago when my wife upgraded to a blackberry. I noticed on my contract (of which I have a Nokia) that BIS was been charged for. I Called 808 & was advised that I'll be sorted out. Of recent, like 3 months ago I discovered that some "genius"stopped the BIS charge on my wife's contract & charged my account- of which I do not have a blackberry. BIS was incorrectly billed for approx 20 months or so.
Further to all this frustration, my wife's upgrade is overdue. When I went to my local MTNSP in Stanger Spar, the lady advised me that I got til the end of July 2013 to upgrade.on the 29 July We stopped at the MTN Ballito to upgrade, only to be told that the contract ended on the 6 July & that we are be charged R50.00 more for BIS.
We received NO notification from MTN advising us to upgrade. NO correspondence what so ever.

I'm really disappointed with MTN and seriously considering porting to another network.
For the money I spend on MTN it's totally pathetic service from MTN.
All I want is to be treated fairly & appreciated for my loyal service. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK???
