Not giving correct information

On the 2 July 2013 I upgrade my data package on my contract from 250MB to 500MB. All was done over the phone and that was it, accept the person that helped me never told me that its first active from the 1st August 2013. I received a sms telling me that my data limit was exeeded by alot of rands. I then phoned on the 25 July 2013 about this and was told the storie, where I was told it takes 24 hours to get resolved. On Monday the 29 July 2013 I phoned again, and this time it was said 2 to 7 working days. Can't these people give the correct information to you as a client over the phone. No you must first fight to get somewhere.
