Telkom Strikes Again

Over the course of the past few months, I have had absolutely no luck with Telkom.. I'd have to call AT LEAST once every 2-3 weeks due to my line just not working anymore.. It would take about 4 days after reporting the fault to get it fixed, which is somewhat acceptable.. but my issue as of late:

My line stopped working completely on the 10th. A technician came out on the 14th, and he said it appears that the cabling has been damaged. I continually checked my fault report online, no progress was made.. Eventually on the 18th, they reported it as a area fault.. I called them today, and they said the last time ANY work was done on the cabling was on the 24th, and today is the 30th. So tell me Telkom, what have your technicians been doing for the past 6 days?

There are loads of people left without any line in the Faerie Glen and Menlyn East area for over 3 weeks but from what I can see, very little is being done about it.. Consultants in the Menlyn Telkom store are rude and aren't willing to help either.
