MTN refused to send me a letter of cancellation

MTN refused to send me a letter of Cancellation of my contract 0835916654. even after making million calls and spoken to Customer service and Legal Department and to my amazement a huge international corporate couldnt assist with as simple letter " indicating that my contract with the is expired and not renewed or cancelled.

they are keen on giving me reference numbers and forcing the referrence number onto me, even after i told them that i need the letter to support my Home loan application.

all i need is the letter of cancellation however one can spell it. a written note indicating that i have settled my contract with MTN and i have no obligation to pay them.
