I was on Red Bull Mobile 200 contract with CellC and it was expiring on the 31 May 2013. I send them a cancellation letter on the 31 May 2013 stating that I'm giving them 30 day notice and i will like my contract to be terminated on the 30 June 2013 and my number 0845023612 to be converted to prepaid.
To my surprise my on the 2nd June 2013 they already converted my number to prepaid.
Because Cellc converted my number before time, I lost 371 minutes which was carried over to June.
I called them to complain and they said the contract was cancelled early because my contract had already expired, which was wrong.
They now say I must pay R306 month end June which i told them i will only pay it if they do what i requested on my letter to them or refund me for my minutes.
They saying it will not happen.
