I have been a Client of Altech Autopage and Cell C for more than 10 years... how pathetic is the service when you need them. They take your money every month though... I booked my son's phone in on the 4th of May and followed up in June, seeing that I heard nothing from nobody... just to be informed that the phone was returned and not repaired, because the phone is 'out of warranty'... In the first place, I was informed that the phone is under warranty for 24 months when I upgraded and in the 2nd place it took 6 weeks to tell me that the phone is NOT repaired. After speaking to the Manager Eric at Autopage, it was determined that the contract was taken out on the 13th of May, which means that it was in fact still within the 12 month warranty period! The phone was returned and now, today, after I had to phone again, was informed that AGAIN it was not repaired? Seriously? I am paying a subscription for the phone every month? The Assistant at Autopage REFUSED to listen to me, did not know where to check the details of the start date of the contract and she wanted to drop the phone in my ear? Now Eric must send it back again? Another 6 weeks? 18 in total? PATHETIC!
