R500 internet bill on a Prepaid account

Please explain how any person can get a R500 internet bill on a prepaid contract. I go to Norwood branch and upgrade my contract to a prepaid account. Subsequently I pick up phone when it is delivered and after 2 days it is soft locked. You can imagine my surprise when I phone them and they tell me I have reached a R500 account limit on my account. My suggestion is don't use Nashua and go straight to cellular providers as they barely know how the contracts work and you will get a proper explanation of how contracts work.
