I went to Vodacom this morning to do a sim swop, the lady that assisted me had a bad attitude from the get go. I cannot understand how Vodacom, the leading service provider can employ staff with such bad attitudes. I was told to go get an affidavit to do a sim swap, when I asked her what the point of the policy was, she told me 'I don't make the rules'. As a company representative, I expected her to know and understand the company policies, and be able to explain it to me. She then told me if I was not happy with getting an affidavit I should call Vodacom and ask them to assist me, which doesn't make sense because Its more secure to do it with me present in the store, then have me call in to a contact center who can't see me at all and can't tell if I'm committing. To top it all off, she was sarcastic too, after knowing that I was not a very happy customer, she shouts as I walk out the door, ' you have a nice day'. As a Customer Experience Manager, I expect leading brands like Vodacom to train there staff in dealing with client complaints and queries in a curtious and professional manner. Plea attend to this complaint, I would like feedback as soon as possible.
