Deceased Estates

Telecommunications

I have been trying since March to cancel my deceased fathers account and transfer the one number over for my mother. MTN has made me retrieve multiple documents on multuiple occasions including death certificates, bank statements and various other letters.. ALL of which I have provided at great time inconvenience and expense to myself. Allthough these documents have been received by MTN, they simply refuse to take any action in sorting out this account! The service has been terrible! To make matters even worse, they have happily continued demanding payment for a dormant account! I now have 1 account that in huge credit that will never be used... What's going to happen here??
I am now left with no option other than to a) Refuse any future payments and b) To move to another operator.
I am truly disgusted, considering I'm going through this procedure this as a result of my own bereavement, MTN has treated me callously and unprofessionally. I quite honestly left with the unfamiliar emotion of despising someone... seriosuly, what other reason could they have for behaving this way other than finding some perverse pleasure in inflicting inconvenience and anguish upon somebody else.
