Promises promises and ads that lie

I took out a new contract anytime R750 per month and was offered a energiser battery kit as a gift but then the supplier ran out of stock
after numerous calls and visits to the branch i am now 13 month down the line still waiting on my free gift
no one calls u back they just say "we will look into the matter and come back to u"
i wonder if they are looking into the matter local or abroad!!!
service is pathetic!!!
i cannot cancel my contract but i did not get what was promised either! now what???
SO WHO IS IN BREACH OF CONTRACT?
