In June I upgraded to a Cell C contract with Nashua Mobile - no terms and conditions were detailed on the telephonic upgrade other than the phone could not be returned. I was promised 1.1gb of data on my contract - I am not getting this and the customer care people were unwilling to listen to the calls to verify that I am right.
Secondly, Cell C's coverage is abysmal and I feel that they are in breach of contract with me, but as I went through nashua I have been advised by cell c that I need to deal with them. They do not want to help me - my family and my job have been jeopardised because I cannot make and receive calls in my office building (sandton) and at home I have NO SERVICE whatsoever. Nashua's response? That I am in the wrong and if I want to cancel the contract I have to pay because I am in breach of contract. What contract? I didnt sign anything and I am getting no service - so cell c/Nashua are in breach. They are not even prepared to help me out at all. I have been a client of theirs for over 10 years. I cannot afford to pay to get out of this contract but I will lose my job if I cannot be contacted as I use my phone for work.
