Yesterday i purchased 3x R30 yellow scratch card MTN vouchers, When I punched the voucher numbers on my phone they did not work, I then called MTN and they advised me that the airtime vouchers was already used... All the vouchers were credited to the same phone number but they are unable to give me the number because of stupid company policy,
I spoke to a Makwena at the Leboagomo contact centre who advised me that I need to go back to the shop and take it up with the manager, which I did, The shop owner then advised me that he does not know what happened as he only sells the vouchers, and he cannot reimburse me as he thinks I used it because I already scratched open the voucher numbers.
I then called MTN back again and spoke to Tessa at the Durban contact centre who gave me the same story as the previous consultant, she then put me through to her supervisor Wentzel who once again said I must go back to the store, They refused to assist me further. How can a company protect because I lost R90 and the attitude I received from them was disgusting. I then took the sim card out of my phone, cut it in small pieces with a scissors and flushed it down the toilet!!!
