I have read with disgust the number of times this complaint has come up, with the usual "cut and paste" bull response from MTN.
They know that their subscribers are being ripped off yet turn a blind eye. Are they benefiting from these? I have to assume they are.
These unsrupulous sods should enter directly into a contract with the subscriber, but this would mean that there would be no subscribers, as who in their right mind would pay R7 per day for a service not used, not wanted, and not agreed to?
MTN, make your billions from the subscribers in your usual, overpriced manner, and have the to protect your customers from these scavengers!
Oh, and also, give this the serious attention it deserves, and don't pass it onto one of your "marketers" who have not a care about your customers.
