Why do we have to pay for BBM's after end of May?

Telecommunications

The question has to be asked why Vodacom has come up with a cheap trick to force all new subscribers to the BlackBerry Z10 to be paying for BBM's after end May when their rivals, CellC guarantees Z10 subscribers free BBM's for life? Also Vodacom's lame excuse that subscribers were no longer satisfied with the speed of BBM's Bis server for data delivery, which apparently has forced them to revert now to their own servers for enhanced speed and hence the reason why new contract subscribers to the Z10 will now in future have to pay for BBM's. This is absolute nonsense and Vodacom has certainly not consulted their clients/subscribers on this. What about a public consultation process on something so severe and which will have a major impact on millions of people? Why is the rest of the world and their opposition clients (CellC), still very much happy with the existing service of BB's Bis and suddenly Vodacom's clients not? This is an absolute case of arrogance and "big brother" bullying. Can Vodacom please reply answers to these lame reasons?
