Dear MTN
I received my statements from MTN and noticed from May to date that I was invoiced for "Content Charges" in which I contacted MTN on 16 July 2013 to find out what this charge relates to. To my surprise, I was told that I have subscribed to a dating service? They could not even give me proof of that subscription. What is worrying is that MTN does not want to take responsibility of this matter and state that they have a contract with the providers and the act as a billing agent but I only have a contract with MTN not the third party. I am disappointed that MTN is screwing their customers by billing them amounts from unknown third party. MTN is failing to protect its valuable customers and on a contrary supports the manner in which these service providers are conducting their business by agreeing to bill us. I did not subscribe for any service as this line is a data card (IPAD). MTN must stop putting their client at the hand of (who claim that we subscribed for services) just because they want to make a quick buck. You stand to lose valuable clients because of this. Please sort the account.
