Why is my account with legal it is paid up!!

I am very dissapointed with mtn, i need a cellphone only to find out that my account is with legal when my account is fully paid??? why why why mtn? i am very dissapointed in a service provider in which i had my trust in. i need an explination. i have paid and settled this account and my credit record is clean but why all this???
