I feel that MTN needs to take responsibility as my service provider! I do not partake in any of the subscription advertisements for. Video, music etc at a cost of a dail/weekly fee. Last Month I was debited with small amounts from R2-R20 totaling over R60. MTN could not assist in recovering. Only provided Smart calls details! Having contacted SMART CALL I was advised via SMS that note has been taken of my complain I will be contacted within 24hours via email. Till todate and many emails later no one has contacted me.
Today I received an sms from another number! Trying to avoid another debit from my account I contacted MTN call centre to be told there is nothing that can be done! The operator cannot even place a stop from where the number is coming from besides me giving him details as to what it is.
I believe MTN has some form of agreement with these people to have our prepaid accounts debited and therefore will not assist! This is a rip off!
