Both my daughter & I phoned Vodacom Clearwater again, spoke to Marlise (not sure of spelling) who took receipt of the phone and sim card on Saturday, said to my daughter had to come into the branch WHAT ABOUT THE FACT THAT SHE DOES NOT WORK IN JHB - which has been conveyed numerous times. When I phoned the branch I then spoke to the acting manager Nati (not sure of spelling) he said it could be done, she had to get a new VODACOM sim card! In the interim my daughter had to drive from work by a new sim card - a retailer will not hand over a sim card without RICA'ing it NOW vodacom can not do it. She had to pay for the sim card, petrol and airtime for a totally different number. As explained in my previous message she is under immense emotional stress... THIS IS THE LAST THING SHE NEED, NO CELL PHONE CONTACT WITH HER DAD. THIS IS SHOCKING TO SAY THE LEAST... HOW CAN VOCACOM OFFER SHORT TERM INSURANCE BUT NOT EVEN TRAIN THEIR STAFF ON SIMPLE PROCEDURES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THEIR INDUSTRY, RETAIL, SELLING PHONES AND AIRTIME. THIS A GROSS BREACH OF CONTRACT AND CERTAINLY DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, NOT EVEN MENTION FAIS. I WILL ENSURE THAT THE OMBUD OF BOTH RECEIVE IT
